Water resources in fragile contexts: Strengthening community resilience in Lebanon

The national water crisis is already affecting villages, towns and cities across Lebanon. So how can communities deal with it in a way that contributes to strengthening their resilience?

This video shows the highlights of a national conference organised by International Alert and the Permanent Peace Movement entitled 'Water resources in fragile contexts: Strengthening community resilience in Lebanon'.

The event, held in Beirut on 28 November 2014, brought together leading water experts, local campaigners and policy-makers to discuss this important issue, including its main causes, its impact on local communities and the country as a whole, and what can be done to tackle it.
