Joseph led research and analysis on the backlash against women’s rights as an intern with International Alert.

He is a seasoned youth development professional with 8+ years of experience in spearheading community development initiatives. Proficient in peacebuilding, policy-oriented research and social justice advocacy. He possesses a diverse digital skillset, including digital consulting, graphics design and video production.

Previous employment includes among other roles project coordinator with ActionAid Nigeria and advocacy, research and programme internships at Doctors without Borders, International Alert and CARE International respectively.

With a bachelor’s degree in economics from Federal University Lokoja, Nigeria, he is currently pursuing a Master’s in Peace and Conflict at Uppsala University, Sweden, as a Rotary Peace Fellowship scholar. Beyond academia, Joseph has garnered other awards, including the World Literacy Ambassador and has participated in various conferences and seminars globally.
